Host compliance monitoring is crucial for ensuring that all systems in an organization meet security, software, and configuration requirements. The Host Compliance Page provides a centralized dashboard for tracking compliance across devices and generating reports for analysis.

 1. Overview of the Host Compliance Page

The Host Compliance Page is a monitoring tool that helps IT administrators track whether devices meet predefined compliance standards. It provides:

A compliance status overview for all hosts.
Search and filtering options to analyze specific devices.
Detailed compliance reports for tracking historical compliance data.

Purpose:

• Ensures that all devices adhere to security policies.
• Helps IT teams identify and fix non-compliant devices.
• Provides comprehensive reports for audits and compliance checks.

2. Compliance Status Indicators: True vs. False

The Host Compliance Page displays True/False indicators to show whether a device is compliant.

• True: The host follows all compliance rules and meets security standards.

• False: The host does not adhere to one or more compliance rules, making it non-compliant.

Example:

Non-compliant hosts require immediate action to restore compliance.

3. Searching and Filtering Compliance Data

The search and filtering features help IT teams quickly locate and analyze specific hosts.

Search by Hostname:

• Enter a Hostname in the search field to view its compliance status.

Filter by Date Range:

Options include:

• Today
• Yesterday
• Last 7 Days
• Last 30 Days
• This Month
• Last Month
• Custom Range

Click “Apply” to filter the data based on the selected criteria.

 4. Generating Compliance Reports

Compliance reports provide detailed insights into the compliance status of hosts.

How to Generate a Compliance Report:
Navigate to the Host Compliance Page.
Click the “Download Report” option.
Select the required date range (e.g., Last 7 Days).
Click “Generate Report” to download an Excel sheet with compliance data.

Reports Include:

• Serial Number (Sr. No.)
• Hostname (Device name)
• Compliance Status (True/False)
• Applied Compliance Rules
• Date of Last Update

Use Case:

• Identify non-compliant hosts and take corrective actions.
• Maintain historical compliance data for audits.
• Improve security policies based on compliance trends.
