  4. Type: “C:\\Program Files\\WinZip\\wzzip” -yf zipfile.zip<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      Note: If different from the above, use the actual drive letter and folder where WinZip is installed, as well as the actual Zip file name instead of zipfile.zip. The space between “Program” and “Files” necessitates the use of double quotes in the example above.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      6. For a split or spanned Zip file, use the following command instead:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      “C:\\Program Files\\WinZip\\wzzip” -yfs zipfile.zip<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      WZZIP will create a new Zip file with the suffix FIXED added to the name. The original Zip file will not be altered in any way. The data from the original Zip file is the only one that is utilised. Although the FIXED Zip file is technically okay, the contents inside it could still be faulty. The zipped data is not fixed by WZZIP. If the zipped data contains a CRC error or is corrupt, the resulting corrected Zip file will be corrupt as well.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
