1. Environment Gathering

· Objective: Collect comprehensive information about the existing IT environment and prerequisites.

· Key Activities:

o Refer to the provided environment gathering sheet.

o Document all required information regarding operating systems, applications, ITSM tools, environment details, and RACI matrix.

o Identify gaps or additional data required for deployment preparation.

· Outcome: A detailed environment report and confirmation that all prerequisites are met.

2. Branding & Application Name

· Objective: Finalize branding and naming conventions for the deployment.

· Key Activities:

o Collaborate with the marketing team to align on branding requirements.

o Ensure consistency in the application’s naming across documentation and interfaces.

o Obtain formal sign-off from the marketing team.

· Outcome: Approved branding and application names.

3. Security Testing

· Objective: Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

· Key Activities:

o Conduct security assessments as per Info-sec policies.

o Identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

o Submit results to the Info-sec or security team for review.

o Obtain sign-off for security readiness.

· Outcome: Security approval for deployment readiness.

4. Finalizing Solutions

· Objective: Determine and confirm the solutions to be implemented.

· Key Activities:

o Review proposed out-of-the-box (OOB) self-help and self-healing solutions.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment with organizational needs.

o Obtain formal sign-off on the finalized solutions.

· Outcome: Finalized solutions documented and approved.

5. Development of Solutions

· Objective: Build and configure the finalized solutions.

· Key Activities:

o Begin development based on approved designs and solutions.

o Conduct unit testing to ensure functionality.

o Document the development process and outcomes.

· Outcome: Developed solutions ready for deployment.

6. UAT Deployment

· Objective: Deploy the solutions in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.

· Key Activities:

o Set up the UAT environment based on deployment prerequisites.

o Deploy the solutions for user testing.

o Provide access and guidelines to the testing team.

· Outcome: Solutions deployed in the UAT environment.

7. UAT Testing

· Objective: Validate the functionality and usability of the solutions in a controlled environment.

· Key Activities:

o Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.

o Document and address issues reported by the testing team.

o Obtain feedback and adjust the deployment if necessary.

· Outcome: UAT sign-off after successful testing.

8. UAT Sign-off

· Objective: Formal approval to move forward with production deployment.

· Key Activities:

o Present UAT testing results to stakeholders.

o Obtain sign-off from relevant teams (e.g., QA, stakeholders, clients).

· Outcome: Approved UAT sign-off document.

9. Production Deployment

· Objective: Deploy solutions in the production environment.

· Key Activities:

o Schedule deployment during agreed-upon maintenance windows.

o Deploy solutions with minimal disruption to business operations.

o Monitor deployment progress and address issues in real time.

· Outcome: Solutions successfully deployed in production.

10. Production Testing

· Objective: Validate the deployment in the production environment.

· Key Activities:

o Monitor performance and user feedback.

o Document any issues and resolve them promptly.

· Outcome: Verified production deployment.

11. Production Sign-off

· Objective: Obtain final approval to mark the deployment as complete.

· Key Activities:

o Present production testing results and deployment reports.

o Obtain sign-off from all stakeholders.

· Outcome: Final deployment sign-off document.

12. ITSM Integration (Optional)

· Objective: Integrate the deployment with the ITSM tool if required.

· Key Activities:

o Configure the ITSM tool (e.g., Service-now) for process alignment.

o Implement required API for integration.

o Validate the integration with real-world scenarios.

· Outcome: ITSM tool integration completed and validated
